he evening air of the Fourth of July 1999, Sunday, was as expected to be very hot. Although it wasn't as muggy as one would think, and a light cool breeze made this fireworks display, a night to remember.

This fireworks display was heralded by all who came to the spectacular as a major success. Even from far away on the SouthEastern shores, people congregated and lined the banks.
Reflections upon the water marked the colorfull intensity the fireworks had to offer. These pictures were taken from the SouthEastern shores of Buckeye Ocean. First came the lighting of the lake with flares and the new lights, then well into the flares, started the fireworks display.
Boats were anchored at bay at a clear distance from the barge that the fireworks were ignited. Although many agree the display is far different from the shores and at anchor, and both are fantastic, each in it's own way. Concensus remains that this display was one of the year's best !!
